Abstract
Non-steroid anti inflammatory drugs (NSAID) have been used extensively around the world as well as in Turkey. We present a case of 32 year-old female patient who ingested naproxen sodium for suicidal purpose. The patient developed acute pancreatitis during clinical observation period. Although development of acute pancreatitis is a rare complication of NSAID intake, it should be kept in mind as potential mechanism in young patients who develop acute pancreatitis without presence of other relevant risk factors.
