Aims and Scope
TJEM aims to distribute and expand medical data and build a supportive and vibrant community of scholars to connect and explore ideas by publishing articles within our scope. We are committed to publication of high-quality research, educational material, and perspective that will be of interest to a broad audience of emergency practitioners, including physicians, nurses, and paramedics, within different settings and in different countries.
Our scope includes all clinical topics related to Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Critical Care, Disaster Medicine, Toxicology, and Pre-Hospital Medicine. This includes emergency department care, urgent care, pre-hospital care, wilderness medicine, toxicology, disaster medicine, emergency radiology, and diagnostic medicine, pain management, analgesia and sedation, emergency medicine systems, emergency nursing, academic emergency medicine and education, emergency department (ED) management, administration, health policies, ethics, and information technologies.
