Abstract
A 65 year old woman was referred to our emergency department with sudden onset of dyspnea. She had history of cholesistectomy two days before admission. Her clinic’s status was consistent with cardiogenic shock. Echocardiography revealed right ventricular dilatation and mobile thrombus in transit. Early thrombolytic therapy was initiated and her symptoms and homodynamic instability showed dramatic improvement. In suspected cases, rapid, and non-invasively performed bedside echocardiography can reveal thrombus in-transit in right heart chamber. Thus echocardiography has valuable diagnostic importance in these conditions. In these cases early initiation of thrombolytic should not be delayed, and ignored.
